Refund policy

The short version

MonsterLink is £4 a month with a 3 day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. After that it renews each month until you cancel, and you can cancel any time.

Your free trial

When you subscribe we take your card details but do not charge them straight away. The first payment is taken when your 3 day trial ends. If you cancel any time before then, no payment is taken and there is nothing to refund.

Cancelling

Open the editor, go to Billing and choose Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next payment. Your page stays live until the end of the month you have already paid for, then it comes down and your username is held for you.

Refunds after a payment

• If you were charged by mistake, for example a payment went through after you meant to cancel, email us and we will refund it in full.
• If something on our side stopped your page working for a meaningful stretch of the month, email us and we will sort a fair refund or credit.
• We do not usually refund part of a month once it has been used, because your page was live and available during that time. Cancelling always stops the next payment.

Your right to cancel under UK law

Because MonsterLink is a digital service you start using straight away, you are asked to agree that we can make your page live as soon as you subscribe. Doing that means you give up the automatic 14 day right to cancel for a refund once your page is live, which is normal for online services. This does not affect your right to a refund if something goes wrong, or your right to cancel the subscription at any time so it does not renew.
