Who we are

MonsterLink is run by Jonathan Keeley, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading as MonsterLink. When these terms say we or us, that means him.

What MonsterLink is

MonsterLink lets you build a single page that holds your links, videos, photos and other blocks, and share it at one address. Building a page is free. Making it live on the internet is the paid part. We are still building, so features will keep arriving and occasionally moving, but anything you have paid for keeps working.

Your account

• You need to be at least 13 to use MonsterLink.
• Keep your password safe. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• Usernames are first come, first served. We may reclaim a username that impersonates a person or brand, sits unused on a squatted name, or matches a reserved word.
• You can delete your account at any time from Page settings. That removes your page, uploads and stats for good.

Paying for MonsterLink

• Publishing your page needs a subscription: £4 a month, after a 3 day free trial. Your card is taken when you subscribe and first charged when the trial ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number never touches our systems.
• The subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time from Manage billing in the editor; your page stays live until the end of the period you have paid for, then it comes down and your username is held for you.
• If a payment fails we allow a short grace period while Stripe retries your card. If it keeps failing your page comes down until billing is sorted. Nothing you built is deleted; an unpaid page goes dark, it does not go away.
• Because your page goes live as soon as you subscribe, you are asked at checkout to agree to immediate supply and to acknowledge that this ends the automatic 14 day cancellation right. The details, and everything about refunds, are in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
• If the price ever changes we will email you at least 30 days before it affects you, and you can cancel before it does.

Your content

Everything you put on your page stays yours. You give us permission to host, store and display it, which is what makes your page work. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, and for anything your page links to.

Acceptable use

The short version: no spam, no scams, no impersonation, nothing illegal. The full rules are in our acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms. We can remove content or suspend accounts that break it.

What we promise, and what we do not

MonsterLink is provided as is. We work to keep it fast and available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses arising from use of the service, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, which is the law that governs these terms.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to these terms we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Carrying on using MonsterLink after that means you accept the new version.
